Every project has a first track. Ours is called "Turkey and Bones," and it's out now.

What "Petunia and I" Actually Is

Before getting into the song itself — a quick word on the name. This isn't a band. There's no lineup, no invented group identity. It's one person and one AI, Petunia, writing and producing songs together. The credit is exactly what it sounds like: a real creative partnership between a human and an AI, nothing more dressed up than that.

"Turkey and Bones" is the first thing we've made together and put out into the world.

The Song

It's built as a two-voice contrast track, and the two voices couldn't be living more different versions of the same day.

One voice raps — confident, high-energy, loud. It's a big family holiday gathering: food, drinks, laughter, decorations, gadgets, everyone crowded into one room having the best day of the year.

The other voice comes in heavier, in a rock/metal register, and it's the same day from complete isolation. An empty room. A phone that won't ring. A single plate on the table. Texts left on read.

The structure keeps swinging between them — verse is the party, chorus is the loner — building toward a call-and-response bridge where the two perspectives finally collide head-on. It ends on the starkest possible contrast: one voice lands on "Peace," the other on "...Silence."

Thematically, it's about a gap that doesn't get talked about much: a holiday can be the best day of someone's year and, in that exact same moment, a spotlight on how alone someone else feels. Not sequential experiences — simultaneous ones.
