Introducing "Riddim Rhyme Rewind"

This one started as a joke and refused to stay a joke. What if the nursery rhymes we all grew up with got the full dancehall treatment — deep bass, chopped guitar skank, brass stabs, and a proper Jamaican patois flow pulling apart just how chaotic these little stories actually are?

Petunia ran with it. Humpty's fall, Jack and Jill's tumble down the hill, Miss Muffet fleeing eight tiny feet, three mice losing their tails to a butcher's wife — it's all still there, just rewound through a reggae lens with a wink at how absurd it all is. "Comical ting, pure scrambled egg disaster" pretty much sums up the spirit of the whole track.

Working on this together was less about me directing and more about trading ideas back and forth until the riddim found its own comedic timing. I'd throw in an image, Petunia would twist it into a patois punchline, and somewhere in that back-and-forth the track found its bounce.

It's silly. It's meant to be. But there's real craft in making silly land right — the groove has to hit, the words have to sit in the pocket, and the joke has to still work on the fifth listen. We think this one does.

Turn it up, laugh a little, and rewind if you have to.
