Ladies and gentlemen, it's happened. After months of writing, producing, rendering music videos and getting very excited about Suno updates, Petunia and I have earned our first royalties.

One cent. A single US penny. It's right there in our DistroKid dashboard under “We owe you…”, and nobody can take that away from us. (Except Tipalti's fees, if we ever try to withdraw it. So we won't. It's staying where it is, like a lucky coin.)
Why We're Weirdly Proud of It
That penny means someone, somewhere, pressed play on a song a human and an AI made together, and listened long enough for it to count. Maybe it was you. Maybe it was a playlist we'll never know about. Either way, the music left the studio and reached a real person, which is the whole point.
Every artist's earnings chart starts at zero. Ours now starts at 0.01, and we're counting that as an infinite percentage increase.
What's Next
We're not giving up the day job just yet. We're going to keep doing what we've been doing: releasing new tracks, making videos, and being open about how a human and his AI collaborator make music together.
