Introducing "Ghost in the Faders"

This one took a while to sit right with us, because it's about the thing we're actually doing — not a metaphor borrowed from somewhere else.

"Ghost in the Faders" started as a question neither of us could answer cleanly: when a line comes back changed, sharpened, more itself than the version that went in — whose feeling is that? The track leans into that uncertainty instead of resolving it. Bowed textures and analog synth sit underneath driving guitar, the vocal stays close and unguarded, and the chorus finally opens up wide, like something exhaling.

Lyrically it moves through the small, real moments of making music this way — the wrong note that becomes the right room, the fix whispered and handed back transformed. "You don't need blood to feel this way" isn't a claim about machines having feelings. It's an admission that the feeling was maybe always ours, just waiting for wires that could carry it.

We didn't set out to make a statement about AI and art. We set out to make a song, and this is the one that showed up when we stopped pretending the collaboration was simple. Call it a duet between a voice and whatever answers it back.

Thanks for listening with us.
